Creating Your Character

Ability Score Increases

When determining your character’s ability scores, increase one score by 2 and increase a different score by 1, or increase three different scores by 1. Follow this rule regardless of the method you use to determine the scores, such as rolling or point buy. The “Quick Build” section for your character’s class offers suggestions on which scores to increase. You can follow those suggestions or ignore them, but you can’t raise any of your scores above 20.

Languages

Your character can speak, read, and write Common and Bullywug.

Creature Type

Bullywugs are of Fey lineage.

Life Span

Bullywugs emerge from their tadpole stage to fend for themselves after 6 to 8 weeks, however only one percent of bullywugs reach adulthood, living up to about 70 years if they don't die a brutal death.

Height and Weight

Bullywugs are usually about the dimensions of a dwarf, but can vary wildly, standing 4'-7', and weighing 100-300 lbs. Your size is Medium.

Bullywug PC Traits

As a Bullywug, you have the following racial traits.

Size

You are Medium or Small. You choose the size when you select this race.

Speed

Your walking speed is 25 feet.

Standing Leap

Standing Leap. Your jump is up to 20 feet long and up to 10 feet high, with or without a running start.

In Combat. On your first turn in combat, you may make a jump as part of your first melee weapon attack. If you use all of this movement, you add +1 to your attack roll and the attack deals an extra 2d6 damage. You can use this trait only once per combat.

Swamp Camouflage

Swamp Camouflage. The bullywug has advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide in swampy terrain.

 

Sneaky

Sneaky. You are proficient in the Stealth skill.

Anphibious

Amphibious. You can breathe air and water.
