Felenk Appearance

Felenk, more commonly referred to as Mousefolk, resemble small humanoid mice. Felenk have large rounded ears and lighter fur colors. Common fur colors include white, light brown, grey, and yellow. However coloration and fur patterns can very greatly between individuals.

A Nose For Gold

Felenk poses a unique ability to sniff out gold. This ability has caused them to be exploited by others for as long as they have been. Because of this past, Mousefolk tend to be mistrusting of outsiders as they are never sure if any kindness is genuine or if they alterative motives. 

Tight Knit Clans

Felenk live in small tight-knit clans. For the Mousefolk it is as much of a social arrangement as it is a form of protection. These clans will often have large burrows where the members live, built near a source of gold. If a clan grows to large and there isn't suitable space to expand, then a portion of the clan will move away and form a new home. Some Mousefolk may chose to live in towns or villages and, if the land isn't available to make a den, will live in houses with their clan members.

Felenk are renowned across the world for their masterful craftsmanship. From brilliant jewelry to intricately carved furniture, Felenk craftsmen produce beautiful pieces of art that are highly sought after. Artistry is an important part of Felenk society and Mousefolk will spend much of there time honing their craft.

Cautious of Danger

Felenk tend to be a cautious race. There small size and special gift has made them targets in the past and will make the targets again in the future. As such most Mousefolk avoid great risks to themselves or their clan. However this doesn't mean Felenk are cowardly.
