Homebrew Axolotl Hybrid Species Details
Found throughout the multiverse, Hybrids are as varied as they are numerous, they are seen as the Inferior species but some can out brute even the most strong of Species.
Axololt Hybrid Traits
Creature Type: Humanoid
Size: Medium (about 4–7 feet tall) or Small (about 2–4 feet tall), chosen when you select this species
Speed: 20 feet walking, 40 feet swimming
Axolotl Regeneration
The Axolotl Hybrid heals 1d4 hp at the start of its turn. (+1d4 every 2 levels)
Underwater Agility
While underwater, the Hybrid gains advantage on Dex saves and checks.
While underwater, the Hybrid also gains 30ft darkvision.
Dehydration
If the Hybrid stays out of contact of water for 1 hours they gain disadvantage on Dex saves and checks.
If the Hybrid stays out of contact of water for 3 hours they take 1d4 fire damage every turn until they hydrate.
If the hybrid stays out of contact of water for 10 hours they drop dead.
Drinking more than 4oz of water or swimming for at least 1 min will reset the timer.
taking ANY fire damage will add 10 mins to the Hybrids time without water.
Resourceful
You gain Heroic Inspiration whenever you finish a Long Rest.
Skillful
You gain proficiency in one skill of your choice.
Versatile
You gain an Origin feat of your choice.
