Homebrew Cambion SPN Species Details

 

 

Cambion Creation

Unlike demons Cambions are natural born with a demon and human parent. These Cambions are considered Abominations even from demons themselves, some humans even referring them the "Anti Christ".

Cambion weaknesses and Strengths 

 

 

While Cambions are still part demon, this allows them have have certain resistances to things that would harm or affect a full blood demon. 

A higher tolerance to holy water only leaving a slight burn mark, or holy crucifixes leaving a red warm mark.

But with these resistances some things still take full effect with the following being, Hearing the name Latin name "Cristo" will cause a Cambion's eyes to flair up in a dark blue-ish purple, being caught in a Devil's Trap, and even being mortal and capable to be killed from normal means.

Cambion SPN Traits

Demons gain traits similar to their Demon parent

Ability Score Increase

Your Intelligence score increases by 1, and your Charisma score increases by 2.

Age

Due to your demon half aging is slightly slower allowing you to live up to 150 years old.

Size

Cambions sizes can be Medium or Small.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision

Thanks to your infernal heritage, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Demonic Resistance

You have resistance to Fire and Necrotic damage.

Demonic Powers

You know the thaumaturgy cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Bane spell as a 2nd-level spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. When you reach 5th level, you can cast the Hold Person spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common and Infernal.
