Homebrew Valyrian Species Details

In the now desolate peninsula of Valyria, farmers and shepherds discovered dragons deep in the mountains called the Thirteen Flames, which were once a series of active volcanoes. The Valyrians tamed the dragons, and soon went from shepherds, to dragonlords, slavers, and sorcerers. They went on to conquer most of Essos, from the Empire of Old Ghys, to the isle of Dragonstone, off the coast of Westeros. They soon became the greatest and most advanced civilisation in the known world, ruling for more than five thousand years.

Yet soon, the Thirteen Flames erupted, and with them came the Doom of Valyria, the peninsula was shattered, the dragons killed, and the people scattered all across the world. Some settled on Dragonstone, and went on to rule Westeros, while the rest spread throughout Essos, unmistakable with their silver hair and purple eyes, strangers in the lands they once ruled.
