Homebrew Arito Species Details

Scaly creatures native to the Underdark, Arito were trapped in a large cave system when a large earthquake closed the entrances and exits. Arito are small, even at their tallest, only hitting 5'9 when standing straight up. They stand in a hunched manner and their fingers end in sharp talons. Their scales come in dark colors and black, with their eyes being all shades of blue and purple. They have spines running down their backs and ending at the tips of their tails. Which rang in size from 1 1/2 to 3 feet. Arito spend their childhoods training and when they hit adulthood at age 10, They acquire their "Deiros" a sentient, sapient, and intelligent dagger that changes material as they gain skill, starting with copper, then steel, then mythril, adamant, and finally, Pure Shadow. A Deiros is invincible to all forms of damage/wear and tear. The only difference in the materials being the sharpness of the blade and chains. If an Arito chooses a different weapon over their Deiros, it will burst into ashes unless the Arito was forced to. This is rarely a problem though as an Arito can summon their Deiros to their hand at any time, even if they are in a magic cancellation field, as the bond is spiritual. An Arito CAN however, use 2 weapons at once as long as 1 of them is their Deiros.
