Homebrew Batkin Species Details
Batkin, as they've come to call themselves, prefer to live simple lives away from the cacophony of noise in cities, towns and anywhere with others. Boasting big ears and leather-like wings, Batfolk might appear frightening, but are rather welcoming.
Batkin Traits

Your Wisdom score increases by 1, and your Dexterity score increases by 2.
Alignment
Most bat Folk are good and rarely choose sides when it comes to law and chaos. Tribal leaders and warriors might be lawful, while explorers and adventurers might tend toward chaotic.
Size
Batkin average about 3 feet tall and weigh about 40 pounds. Your size is Small.
Bat Wings
You have wings (whether connected from your arms, as a real bat would, or sprouting from your back) and a flying speed equal to your walking speed. This flight requires the use of your wings and you can fly for 1 hour straight or broken up into intervals as many times a day up to half of your constitution modifier(minimum of one.)
Blindsight
You have blindsight up to 60ft.
Darkvision
Having grown in Caves or darker environments your sight is well adjusted to seeing in the dark.
Superior Perception
You gain proficiency in the Perception skill. Additionally, if you are not deafened, you have advantage on any Wisdom (Perception) checks.
Bite
You have a bite attack that deals 1d4 + strength damage.
Fury of the Small
When you damage a creature with an attack or a spell and the creature's size is larger than yours, you can cause the attack or spell to deal extra damage to the creature. The extra damage is 1d4 plus your level. Once you use this trait, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Clawed Feet
Allows the Batkin to sleep in a natural state upside down. Also while awake allows the Batkin to observe their surroundings from a High perspective.
