Homebrew Crocodilian (Zenorite VI) Species Details

Crocodilians are the native reptilian species of Zenorite VI, a completely isolated planet. They are very large and possess poisonous saliva and sweat that can dissolve metal. Yes, these reptiles sweat. They’re aliens, don’t question it.

Creature Type. Your creature type is Monstrosity, bury you count as an Aberration for any effects that require you to be an Aberration.

Size. Your size is Large

Speed. You have a walking speed of 20 feet, a burrow speed of 5 feet, a climb speed of 40 feet, and a swim speed of 20 feet.

Crocodilian (Zenorite VI) Traits

As a Crocodilian, you have these special traits.

Caustic Sludge

You emit a caustic sludge in your mouth and on your claws. Whenever you make an unarmed strike or natural weapon attack, it deals an extra 1d6 poison damage on hit.

Poisonous Spit

You can spit poison at a creature within 60 feet of you as a ranged natural attack. It deals 1d8 poison/acid damage on a hit (your choice when you make the attack).

Natural Weapons

You have two natural weapons you can use, a Bite and your Claws. A Bite deals 1d6 piercing damage on hit and your Claws deal 1d6 slashing damage on hit.

Bestial Nature

Since you evolved to be a primitive beast, your Intelligence score can never go above 6. You are also unable to speak any languages except Zemnian, but you can understand a number of languages equal to half of your Intelligence score.

Natural Armor

Your incredibly thick hide allows you to add your Constitution modifier to your Armor Class. This cannot be used if you are wearing armor, but can be used while wielding a shield.

Incredibly Powerful Build

Your muscular reptilian frame gives you a +2 bonus to your Strength and Constitution scores and you can calculate your Carrying Capacity as if you were a Gargantuan creature.

Claustrophobia

Whenever you are in a space that is less than 20 feet x 20 feet x 20 feet in any dimension, you have the Frightened condition. You will have this condition even when it is removed or if you have Immunity until you exit the cramped space.

Toxin Adaptions

You have Immunity to Poison damage and the Poisoned condition.

Solo Hunter

You have Advantage on attack rolls against targets that do not have any other creatures except you within 10 feet of them. You have Disadvantage on the attack roll if a creature within 10 feet of the target is Friendly towards the target.

Weapon Unfamiliarity

You cannot use Martial weapons (except ones you have Mastery with) or Firearms of any kind.
