Homebrew Zoe's Firbolg Species Details

Firbolgs are half gaints that descended from giants and elves long ago. A firbolg’s magic is an obscuring sort, which allowed their ancestors to pass through a forest without disturbing it. So deep is the connection between a firbolg and the wild places of the world that they can communicate with flora and fauna.

 

Society is the most important aspect to a Firbolg and it supersedes individuals. Actions are more important than ones relationships or heritage. 

They always, unless exiled, carry a copy of their code: "Bravery, Effort, and Honor over birth. The tribe's honor over yours. The blood of the runt is the blood of the king. Give a thousand for nothing. Truth is the honor of the tribe." Additionally, they work together to maintain and improve the forest they live in, going so far as to starve rather than take from the forest in times of drought.
