Homebrew (B) Thri-kreen Species Details

Thri-kreen have colorful changing sacs on the underside of their tails and necks. They glow brighter or dim depending on the Thri-kreens emotional state. They are also used to attract potential mates. The brighter, the better.

They are scattered in villages in a decently sized region, but their biggest settlement is an underground city called Esseka. Most political figures live here. The average village usually has one or two chiefs, and are often underground or just barely at the surface.

Thri-kreen originally lived in space on a different planet. But an old Thri-kreen ship filled with warriors, fell and crashed into the old earth. The remaining Thri-kreen were forced to settle, and over time evolved into the Thri-kreen of today. Though, the origins of the ship and the Thri-kreen's alien nature has been lost to time.

The Thri-kreen worship a goddess known as Reie, but other worships of other god and goddesses are common as well.

There are multiple different variants of Thri-kreen, such as beetles, ants, mantis's, bees, crickets, and rarely moths or butterflies.
