Homebrew Demogorgon Species Details

The Demogorgon is a natural hunter. He eats only flesh, because of his lack of eyes he cannot see. He feels the vibrations in the ground, which causes an ambush to be harder. This creature lives in small groups and is not so social it is rather distant and his sense of smell will not abandon him.

He can choose to walk on his hind legs or on his 4 legs. Which makes him also a good climber. Because of his large front legs he is also a good tunnel digger, during the digging of the tunnels his move speed is halved. Only creatures that are as big as him or smaller can use the tunnels.

Through life in the dark he has created a pale skin tone. With his face that he can open to devour his prey he reveals over 200 teeths witch terrifies his prey. . People who encounter this creature when they are alone can often not tell, because of this, his existence is only known in drunken men's stories.

The demogorgon is a creature that lives in the dark, he can walk in the sun with no trouble. But he prefers the dark.

The Demogorgon feels all the vibrations on the ground within 60ft if he is under ground it is increased to 120ft.

Dig Hole

As an action the demogorgon can dig a hole where he can make a tunnel. Any creature that has the same height or smaller can use the hole. while digging the hole the demogorgons walking speed is halved. If he crawls in an tunnel he has his normal walking speed

Bite

The Demogorgon can only bite if the creature stands in a range of 5ft. He deals a d6 bludgeoning damage.
