Homebrew Ancient Warforged Species Details
An ancient warforgend that was abandoned long ago. due to the long years left to its own devises. it has addend many of it own repairs to its body to fix worn out parts or cracks in its frame losing its original appearance changing its overall form dramatically. most are so old that even the ideals and gods they once held in Greatest reverence are now little more then a distant memory.
Ancient Warforged Traits
Ability Score Increase:any +2 any +1, Creature Type: construct, Darkvision 45ft,Ability Score Increase
When determining your character’s ability scores, increase one score by 2 and a different one by 1, or increase three scores by 1. None of these increases can raise a score above 20.
Darkvision
Because of their robotic eyes, the warforged have darkvision up to 45 feet.
Constructed Resilience.
You were created to have remarkable fortitude, represented by the following benefits: You have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage. You don’t need to eat, drink, or breathe. You are immune to disease. You don't need to sleep, and magic can't put you to sleep.
Integrated Protection.
Your body has built-in defensive layers, which can be enhanced with armor. You gain a +1 bonus to Armor Class. You can don only armor with which you have proficiency. To don armor, you must incorporate it into your body over the course of 1 hour, during which you must remain in contact with the armor. To doff armor, you must spend 1 hour removing it. You can rest while donning or doffing armor in this way. While you live, your armor can't be removed from your body against your will.
Memorised Self-made Design.
You gain history proficiency and smithing tools proficiency, and when you are damaged you are able to fix yourself with spare or different parts with almost no issue.
Language Translator.
Because of their ancient knowledge, the warforged can translate almost all languages. However it takes effort to remember, they must roll a check of a DC 14 wisdom(history) to fully translate words, written or spoken.
Metalskin Resistances.
Because of their armor, the warforged have resistances to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage. However, they have vulnerabilities to effects that can rust their armor and body, like cold, and acid.
Limb Loss
While these warforged have tough skin, they can still lose limbs quite easily. After getting hit with a critical hit with a weapon or spell roll a d6, on a 1-2 they will either lose a leg(-10 speed) on a 3-4 they will lose an arm (disadvantage on melee) or on a 5 they will lose there head(Blinded) and on a 6 all limbs fall off at once It takes a bonus action to grab and reattach a limb.
Age
As long as a warforged is maintained properly and they have a functional head, they'll be able to survive for hundreds of millions of years. Even if they decay and rust into little more then there head that kept them alive so long.

The creature type of a warforged is a construct.
