Homebrew vessel Species Details

Exoskeleton

they have a white mask encasing their entire head with two long horns formed at the top pronged at the ends, and two large eye-holes carved in it though nothing is visible within, aside from darkness.

battle growth

Unlike most species, they grow physically through fighting and training rather than age. they become medium at lvl 10 and large at lvl 18

voidborn

Their bodies are unnaturally black, mimicking the darkness of their birth, they gain resistance to necrotic damage. They also don't need to eat, drink, sleep, ect. also cannot verbally speak, but can telepathically in a short 15ft range. They also do not feel pain, and feel limited emotions. they cannot get sick.

Soul points

these are used to cast soul spells. apon striking a creature with sufficient force to harm them, you gain one soul point. you can hold as many soul points as twice your character level + your wisdom modifier which is your spellcasting modifier for these spells

Vengeful spirit

(unlocked lvl 3): 1 soul point. you use a action to release a blast of pure white energy, a width of 5ft and continues in a straght line for 30ft. any creature in that line must make a dex save, taking 2d8 radiant damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful one

Shade soul

(unlocked lvl 8): 3 soul points. you use a action to release a blast of pure void energy, a width of 10ft and continues in a straght line for 60ft. any creature in that line must make a dex save, taking 4d8 necrotic damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful one

 

Desolate dive

(unlocked lvl 5) 3 soul points. you use and action to strike the ground with immense force, causing a wave of white energy in a 10ft by 10ft area. any creature in that area must make a dex save, taking 3d8 radiant damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful one

Descending dark

(unlocked lvl 12) 5 soul points. you use and action to strike the ground with immense force, causing a wave of black and white energy in a 15ft by 15ft area. any creature in that area must make a dex save, taking 4d8 radiant and 4d8 necrotic damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful one

 

 

Howling wraiths

(unlocked lvl 10) 5 soul points. you use an action to release a 15ft cone of white energy above you. any creature in that area must make a dex save, taking 4d8 radiant damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful one

Abyssal shriek

(unlocked lvl 15) 8 soul points. you use an action to release a 20ft cone of white energy above you. any creature in that area must make a dex save, taking 8d8 radiant, necrotic, and thunder damage on a failed save and half as much on a successful one
