Homebrew Arcane Sturgeon Species Details
You were once a sturgeon but you were infused with arcane energy. This gave you sentience and the ability to fly. You can also manipulate force energy, slightly.
Arcane Sturgeon Traits
As an Arcane Sturgeon, you have these special traits.Fish Companion
You can command an arcane fish. You can cast Find Familiar at will, but can only summon a fish this way.
Arcane Manipulation
You know the Eldritch Blast and Mage Hand cantrips, and you can cast Mage Armor an amount of times equal to your Intelligence modifier. Intelligence is your spellcasting modifier for these spells.
Magical Intellect
Your Intelligence score increases by 3, to a maximum of 25.
Piscine Anatomy
You are literally a fish, so you cannot walk, physically manipulate objects, wear armor/clothing unless specifically made for sturgeon, or do anything a fish couldn’t do.
Water Dependency
You can only breathe water, and can hold your breath for up to an hour. You must immerse yourself in water at least once an hour or your skin becomes painfully dry, which imposes Disadvantage on all of your D20 tests.
