Bubby can eat any item that will logically fit into his mouth. And once per short rest, the Bubby can choose to regain 1d6 HP from the consumed item.

Bubby's all have a set of stone plate armor, it takes one action to activate it and put it on (because magic is a thing), while suited up, the Bubby gains an armor class of 15 and a size of large.

This is a few things.

Bubby is resistant to slashing, piercing, and bludgeoning damage, and has advantage on any constitution saving throws, he is also immune to the charmed, condition, poison damage and the poisoned condition, and, while not wearing his armor, can't be knocked prone.

Bubby's, due to culture, and training, are proficient in cooking utensils, and stone carvers tools.
