Homebrew Czeno Species Details

Semi-aquatic alien life form, looks similar to a squid when outside of their highly advance technological armor. They rely heavily on this armor to protect their very soft bodies.

They are known to use various energy based weapons, such as plasma guns, lasers or electrical based weapons. Some variants will use large mechs of various shapes as well as smaller drones to scout the area.

The Czeno with armor typically stand around 7 - 8 feet in height and 6 1/2 - 7 1/2 feet without armor. They live lives up to 120 Sol years on average, though the years on their home world are twice the length of a year on Terra.

Czeno Traits

They have some natural abilities such as teleportation, telepathic communication between their species, and natural persuasiveness.

Natural Persuasion

A long diluted ability to control minds has left the Czeno race with a natural persuasiveness.

Squishy Bodies

When out of their armor, the Czeno will be vulnerable to bludgeoning damage, but it does have an added bonus of letting them squeeze through narrow spaces up to 4 inches wide.

Natural Teleportation

The Czeno can teleport up to 60ft within line of sight. They can do this a number of times equal to twice their proficiency bonus

Natural Telepathy

Through years of living a peaceful existence with other species the natural ability of the Czeno to control minds has slowly diminished due to lack of use and has instead left the species with a natural telepathy to add to their natural persuasiveness.
