Homebrew Ant person Species Details

Insect like monstrosity with two pairs of arms whose bodies are encased in protective chitin. Can alter coloration of carapace to blend in with their natural surroundings. They don't sleep but must have a period of inactivity to rest during which they are fully aware of what is happening around them. They don't have voice box and speak by clacking mandibles and antennae for other Thri-Kreen. for other creatures who cant understand  this form of communication Thri-Kreen can use a form of telepathy.

Chameleon Carapace

Though your not wearing armor, your carapace gives you a base Amour class of 13+ dex modifier. As an action you can change your color and texture of carapace to match surroundings giving you advantage on dex (stealth) checks made to hide in those surroundings.

Darkvision

In dim light you can see as if it was bright  and in dark you can see as if it was dim

Secondary arms

Secondary arms are slightly smaller and can do most things that primary arms can including wielding a weapon or tiny object of light property.

Thri-kreen Telepathy

You have magical ability to transmit your thoughts mentally to willing creatures you can see within 120ft of yourself. your telepathic link is broke if you are farther than 120ft apart.
