Children of Temptation, Dream, and Hunger

Born from the subtle currents between desire, emotion, and the subconscious mind, Incubi and Succubi are supernatural beings who feed not on flesh—but on vitality, willpower, and essence.

Some are fiends. Others are cursed mortals. A rare few walk the world seeking connection without consumption.

But all share one truth:

-> To touch them is to risk being drained.
-> To dream of them is to invite them in.

🌙🔥 INCUBI AND SUCCUBI Traits

INCUBI (AND SUCCUBI) have the following traits

Ability Score Increase

Choose one:

  • +2 Charisma, +1 Constitution
  • +2 Charisma, +1 Dexterity

Darkvision

You can see in dim light within 60 ft as if bright light, and in darkness as dim light.

🕊️ Veiled Wings (Limited Flight)

You possess subtle, supernatural wings—physical or spectral.

  • You gain a flying speed equal to your walking speed

Restriction:
You can fly for a number of rounds equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all uses on a long rest.

  • You fall if you end your turn in the air without remaining duration

👉 At DM discretion, wings may manifest as:

  • Bat-like
  • Feathered
  • Shadow or energy constructs

Emotional Sensitivity

You can sense emotional disturbances.

  • As a bonus action, you can detect the emotional state of creatures within 30 ft until the end of your next turn
  • You know if creatures are:
    • Charmed
    • Frightened
    • Under extreme emotional stress (DM discretion)

Uses = Proficiency Bonus per long rest

Draining Touch

Your touch siphons vitality.

When you hit a creature with an unarmed strike or maintain physical contact for at least 6 seconds:

  • The target takes 1d6 necrotic damage
    (2d6 at level 5, 3d6 at level 11, 4d6 at level 17)
  • You choose one effect:
    • Gain temporary HP equal to half the damage dealt
    • Heal HP equal to half the damage dealt
    • Impose disadvantage on the target’s next saving throw

Uses = Proficiency Bonus per long rest

🌙 Dreamwalker

You can enter and influence dreams.

Once per long rest:

You cast a modified version of Dream without material components.

While in the dream:

  • You can communicate freely
  • You can alter emotional tone and imagery
  • You may force a Wisdom saving throw

On a failed save:

  • The target is Charmed by you for 1 hour after waking
  • They have disadvantage on Insight checks against you for 24 hours

Alluring Presence

Your nature is inherently persuasive.

  • You gain proficiency in Persuasion or Deception
  • If already proficient, gain Expertise (double proficiency bonus)

🌘 Kiss of Consumption

Your draining becomes more potent when a creature is vulnerable.

When a creature is:

  • Charmed by you or
  • Willingly allows contact

Your Draining Touch:

  • Deals an additional +1d6 necrotic damage
  • Automatically applies without requiring an attack roll

🌘 Essence Feeding

You grow stronger when you feed.

When you reduce a creature to 0 HP or successfully affect them with Dreamwalker:

You gain one of the following (your choice):

  • Temporary HP equal to your level
  • Advantage on all Charisma checks for 1 minute
  • Regain one expended use of Draining Touch
