Homebrew Bau Species Details
Age: Reach maturity at the age of 30 and cannot die from old age. The older, the slower.

Reproduce via seeds. Originally, bees helped pollinate their flowers, but now they use magic rituals and are not dependent on them. There are factions of Bau that keep the traditional approach and only make children with the help of bees.
Flowering plants are female, while others are male.
Diet: Get rest from the sun (photosynthesis) and other nutrients from the ground.
Behaviour: Bau love nature and live in harmony with it.
Most Bau are very protective of their territory, making sure that no one damages it or interferes with its balance.

You don’t need to sleep, and magic can’t put you to sleep. If you have spent at least 4 hours in daylight, you can finish a Long Rest in 2 hours if you spend those hours in a trancelike meditation, during which you retain consciousness.
One with Nature
You gain the ability to choose a level 1 spell from the druid spell list. You always have that spell prepared. You can cast it once without a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast it in that way when you finish a Long Rest. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have.
Once you reach level 5, you learn the spell Speak with Plants. You always have that spell prepared. You can cast it once without a spell slot, and you regain the ability to cast it in that way when you finish a Long Rest. You can also cast the spell using any spell slots you have.
Fey Ancestry
You have Advantage on saving throws you make to avoid or end the Charmed condition.
Natural Armor
Your barkskin provides you a base AC of 17 (your Dexterity modifier doesn’t affect this number). You can’t wear light, medium, or heavy armor, but if you are using a shield, you can apply the shield’s bonus as normal.
