Homebrew Bearded Dragons Species Details
Sun Worshippers
Bearded Dragons follow and stay in the sun. They rarely go into the dark and need its warmth and light to survive. They also hate anything cold and have been known to gather in groups and attack white dragons, especially young ones, and then leave its body as a message to others that the cold will not be tolerated. They don’t usually attack anything bigger than a young white dragon, though in the past motivated communities have taken down ancient dragons with their raking claws and powerful bites.
City Folk
Bearded Dragons in the city will take on a very different persona than those in the wild. For one, they look lots of different ways, some being red and gold, others being a blank slate. City born bearded dragons also don’t mind the cold, and some will even play in the snow, although city dragons will also end up being less alert and also tend to be more lazy.
Bearded Dragons Traits

Bearded Dragons gain a +2 to dexterity and charisma, most being known to be able to do backflips and other aerial acrobatics.in turn though, bearded dragons also get a -3 to intelligence, often fighting with themselves in mirrors, and also losing insects because they jump on their heads.
Acrobatic Lizards
Bearded Dragons will fall, as all creatures do, but bearded dragons will always land on their feet, after a sequence of flips and spins. Some bearded dragons even make careers out of this ability, jumping from death defying drops and then spinning and flipping until they land, almost always on their feet. This gives you proficiency in acrobatics and also makes it so you take 1d4 less damage from falls, and increases in dice every 3 levels, capped at 6d4.

Bearded dragons speak two harsh languages. They are fluent usually in both draconic and common, although wild bearded dragons only speak draconic.
Age
Bearded Dragons, no matter how loved, mature at 5 and live ‘till about 15.
Sun Lovers
As bearded dragons originally worshipped the sun, (and some still do), the sun god Tamara gave them an innate resistance to radiant damage, allowing them bask anywhere touched by the suns heat.
Beard
Bearded Dragons have a loose bit of skin covering their chins, and when they get upset, usually scared, they puff it out blackened to intimidate their foes. On their turns, bearded dragons can select one creature, and then inflate their beards. The target must make a wisdom save or they become frightened of the bearded dragon for one minute.
Speed
Bearded Dragons have a walking speed of 35 ft., and a climbing speed of 25 ft.
