Homebrew Yautja Species Details
From the far reaches of the stars come the Yautja—honor-bound hunters known to many worlds as Predators. Towering, dreadlocked warriors who live for the thrill of the hunt, they stalk the most dangerous prey across planets, claiming trophies from those deemed worthy. In your campaign, a Yautja might be an exiled hunter, a young blood seeking glory, or a guardian who has turned their skills toward protecting (or testing) other civilizations.
Languages
You can speak, read, and write Common and Yautja (a language of clicks, hisses, and gestures). You also know one additional language of your choice.

Yautja Traits
Yaujta have the following features and traits:Darkvision
You have darkvision out to a range of 120 feet. Within that range, you can see in dim light as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern colors in dim light but only shades of heat in darkness—living creatures and warm objects appear as glowing signatures.
Hunter's Physique
You have advantage on Athletics checks made to climb, jump, or grapple. Your carrying capacity is doubled, and you have advantage on ability checks made to escape a grapple or avoid being restrained.
Cloaking Adaptation
As a bonus action, you can activate a camouflage field. For 1 minute or until you make an attack roll, cast a spell, or take damage, you have advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks and creatures have disadvantage on attack rolls against you while you remain hidden from them. You can use this trait a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Trophy Hunter
You have proficiency with one martial weapon of your choice. Once per short or long rest, when you reduce a hostile creature to 0 hit points with a melee weapon attack, you can harvest a trophy as part of that attack. You gain temporary hit points equal to your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier (minimum 1).
Predator Resilience
You have advantage on saving throws against being poisoned, and you have resistance to poison damage.
Thermal Insight
At 3rd level, you gain the ability to perceive heat signatures with lethal precision. As a bonus action, you can activate Thermal Insight for 1 minute. While active, you can see invisible creatures within 60 feet as distorted heat outlines (they do not benefit from invisibility against you). You can use this trait once per long rest. You can use it twice at 7th level and three times at 11th level. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
