Homebrew Zauberbiest Species Details
Ageless Deception. Zauberbiests (and their female counterparts, Hexenbiests) are creatures of immense magical potential and social grace. While they appear as striking, often beautiful humans, their true nature is revealed through a "Woge"—a transformation that reveals a rotting, skeletal visage.
Mental Sovereignty. Their minds are fortresses of psychic energy, making them immune to mental intrusion but leaving their supernatural bodies brittle and susceptible to physical rending.
The Lunar Hunger. They do not consume normal food, instead drawing sustenance from the life force found in humanoid flesh, required once per lunar cycle to maintain their vitality.
Zauberbiest Traits
As a Zauberbiest, you possess the following racial traits:The Biest's Reach

Your will manifests as a permanent telekinetic extension of your presence. You have an invisible Mage Hand active at all times.
Permanent Presence: The hand does not require an action to cast and does not require concentration. If it is dispelled or destroyed, it automatically reforms at the start of your next turn.
Invisibility: The hand is naturally invisible.
Control: Using the hand to manipulate an object still requires an action (or bonus action if allowed by other features), but you never need to spend an action to "summon" it.
Limits: The hand has a range of 30 feet and a carrying capacity of 10 pounds.
Innate Sorcery
Your bloodline carries the weight of ancient, crushing magic. You can channel this power to manipulate the physical world with violent or precise force.

At 3rd Level: You can cast the Catapult spell once per long rest.

At 5th Level: You can cast the Levitate spell once per long rest.
Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells. Because this magic is innate to your physiology, you can cast these spells without providing verbal or somatic components.
The Mind's Fortress
Your mind is a vault of ancient magical energy, and your physiology is naturally toxic. You have Immunity to Psychic damage and the Poisoned condition. Additionally, you have Resistance to Poison damage.
Brittle Essence
Your supernatural form is physically brittle. You have Vulnerability to Slashing damage. You are also Vulnerable to weapons made of Pure/True Silver
Master of Toxins
You have an innate affinity for the concoction and delivery of toxins. You gain proficiency with the Poisoner's Kit. Additionally, any poison you craft or apply ignores resistance to poison damage (but not immunity).
Lunar Sustenance
You do not require normal food or drink. However, once every 30 days, you must consume the flesh of a humanoid to maintain your vitality. If you fail to do so, you gain one level of exhaustion at the end of each day that cannot be removed until you feed.
Ability Score Increase
Your natural presence is overwhelming, and your supernatural resilience is high. Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 1.
