Ahuizotl are terrifying creatures from Aztec mythology often described as a water dwelling monster with a hand on its tail used to drag people into rivers and lakes. It was said to cry like a human baby to lure people and was viewed as a guardian of the lakes serving the water gods. Its the size of a small dog and has a long tail with a hand on it but also has monkey like hands.
