Homebrew Auralith Species Details

Auralith are people made from enchanted gemstone clusters given humanoid shape and consciousness after spending centuries steeping in Ancient Gem Dragons' lairs.

Many auralith spend their whole lives in service of the gem dragon that gave it life, protecting the lair from treasure hunters and adventurers. However, some auralith do forge their own paths and leave their gem encrusted caverns behind.

An auralith's personality and temperament depend heavily on the gem it's made of and the dragon that gave it life.

Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision

You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light and in darkness as if it were dim light. You discern colors in that darkness only as shades of gray.

Harmonic Resonance

Using your connection to gem dragons' psionics, you can telepathically communicate with creatures you can see. You use Intelligence when casting this spell. 

Luminous Core

Through powerful psionics, you can use a bonus action to cause your torso to glow in a dim, constant pulse that sheds dim light in a 10 ft. radius centered on yourself until you decide to end the glow as a bonus action.

Natural Armor

Your AC is 13 + your Dexterity modifier when unarmored.
