Homebrew Bileborn Species Details
Bileborn are a humanoid species with particular favour or being a direct descendant to The Grandfather. They are commonly covered in scars and give off a repulsive smell, the most distinct feature is a mask covering mainly their mouths. Upon removal, the mask reveals a large, distorted and ripped mouth, most commonly in the shape of a twisted smile. Any members of this species typically cast spells from wounds or scars on their body, their mouth, or a separate means such as a staff imbued with their power.

Your skin begins to bubble and quickly harden with a dried layer of puss, causing incoming attacks to have a reduced effect against you. The pustules pop and have to regenerate over time, over a short or long rest.
Controlled Rot
The gifts of the Grandfather run through you, allowing you to become more durable or dangerous against your opponents. The channelling of his power gives you an amount of chances to blast off large amounts of plague to a certain effect. When you reach level 3, you may use a Rot Point (equal to your proficiency bonus, recovered per short or long rest) as a Bonus Action to do one of two things. You may add your Constitution bonus to your AC or make all your or an allies attacks deal 1d12 Necrotic damage until your next turn.
Ability Score Increase
Add +1/+1 to your Strength and Constitution score or add +2 to your Strength or Constitution score.
