Homebrew Croaker Species Details

Every once in a while a Croaker hears the call of the wider world beyond the reeds and murky waters of the mire. Some seek forgotten secrets buried beneath the swamp, some chase glory and treasure, and others simply wander wherever their powerful legs carry them. Leaving behind the safety of the lily colonies and mud huts, Croakers leap headfirst into adventure with boundless curiosity, swamp-born cunning, and just enough chaos to make things interesting.

Though small in stature and damp by nature, Croakers are surprisingly resilient and endlessly resourceful. What they lack in size they make up for with quick reflexes, sharp instincts, and a remarkable talent for getting into — and out of — trouble. Whether cracking open ancient relics, outsmarting larger foes, or “liberating” unattended valuables, Croakers approach life with wide eyes, sticky fingers, and an enthusiastic croak.
