Homebrew Deathbound Species Details

"When the veil between life and death parts, most souls pass through. A Deathbound soul looked into the beyond—and was chosen to return."

Deathbound are mortals marked by the powers that govern the final journey of every soul. They are not undead, nor are they cursed. Instead, they carry a fragment of the authority of Death itself. Across generations, entire bloodlines have inherited this mark, producing warriors, judges, guardians, and holy champions who walk fearlessly where others dread to tread.

Many Deathbound become paladins, serving as protectors of the dying, destroyers of undead, and wardens of the natural order.
