Homebrew Arcánima Species Details

Arcánima, normally called arcane drones are Weave made physical. Their name originally come from Valdoro as "Arcano" a general term used to describe many things. That later merged with the second root word ánima. The unification likely happened in Vallecirerro.

Their appearances are even more wild and different. They can have skin, scales, fur, plasma membranes, shells, wings, claws, or nothing but the light of their spirit and armor to protect it. It should be noted that their spirits show as physical light, and said light leaches out through the "eyes" of these things. Their physical appearance is completely dictated by their creator.

The origins of these things are surprisingly clear. Sancho of Valdoro made the first twelve in the beginning of the Darkness Era. They were first designed as a solution to resource scarcity. Many more were subsequently made for different purposes when the process was accidentally leaked during the merging of the Renin States.

It should be noted that these things do not organize together. They form no societies. They find joining societies, changing cultures, or adopting new ideas as taboo. They have a deep family structure engraved in their nature. They (under normal circumstances) view their creator as a parent or grandparent. Often poorly attempting to absorb themselves into families. 

All of these things naturally speak Oratio Magica. They can hear Weave, and naturally they can speak the thread back into the tapestry. 

These things are of a small to medium size. They have a plus +2 in arcana, a +1 in intelligence, and a +1 in wisdom. They have a 30-ft walk speed, and an additional 10-ft speed of any type of their creator's choice. Tragically they live very short lives, typically 5 to 10 years.

You have a blindsight that knows no limit or bound. You can effectively see where others cannot, and when others cannot. This blindsight extends 90 ft when your eyes are closed, and as a creature with no true eyes. This is every moment of your life.

Movement Type

Perhaps you can borrow. Perhaps you can swim. Perhaps you can fly. Perhaps you can even walk between the realms. Regardless of what it may be, your creator gave it to you. All you need to do is remember exactly what it was.
