Homebrew Aba Cats Species Details

Aba, a lonely wizard, was walking through the woods one day and found a group of cats wandering around the wild. the wizard cast a spell on the cats, causing them to become civilized like humanoids. although they kept the same physical appearance, they began to learn common, wear clothes, use weapons, have jobs, build houses and more!

for a while, Aba Cats were widely unheard of. but in the Battle of Catgeddon, two whole armies were being overwhelmed by their opponents in a losing battle, but then 200 Aba Cats stepped in to face an army of 2000 and not only did they save the village, they helped rebuild it and were knitted as heroes.

Aba Cats normally live in small villages they built or on the street, pretending to be strays. occasionally they chose to live amongst humanoids as either members of their society, or, more rarely, as pets.

I was walking down the street when a cat crossed paths with me. Someone had dressed it up in human clothes. he even had a little belt with a dagger! I bent down to pet it when it kicked the dagger from its belt, caught it with its mouth, and held it up to my face! "I" it said, "know about your crimes"

now, i was shocked! i had come to live in that village so law enforcers couldn't find me, but the thing that scarred me more than how the word got out, more then the daggar, MORE then the cat, was the fact that it could speak!

Aba Cats prefer to think of themselves separate from their ancestors, the cats. but however they share a lot of common traits, such as their ability to see in the dark and their amazing stealth

Aba Cats keep their "Ancestors" ability to fall from high places without landing in a fatal position

Thanks to your claws, you can attack enemies with great strength

You can sniff any area you want and it will cast Detect Poison and Disease without going through the whole ritual process
