Homebrew Air Tribe Venavis Species Details
The Air Tribe share their likeness with birds of prey, such as eagles and falcons. They possess the strongest and fastest wings of them all, able to regenerate their feathers quickly enough to even be used as weapons. The largest of the air tribes take to high elevations, living on sheer cliffs and high mountains that they frequently rotate between. During the war, the air tribe venavis were scouts, able to spot dragon movements and escape them unlike any other. In modern times they're often traders, selling knowledge of trade routes and mountain passages that few others are aware of.

Venavis
Long thought to be related to the aarakocra, the venavis are a species shaped by Tehiri itself. When dragons assaulted Tehiri during the War of the Frozen Hells, the gods Hacina and Darasif performed a rare act of cooperation and created the venavis from ordinary birds found in Leonios. They would be a divine species, destined to protect the land and sky alike from the draconic scourge, and specialized to face them wherever they'd appear. Even now, with the war over, the four most prominent tribes remain vigilant over Tehiri, awaiting the day they're needed again.
