Homebrew Bladeborn Species Details

Born of Varninar’s ancient bloodline, the Bladeborn are a human people shaped by war, discipline, and their unique command of godsteel. Every Bladeborn can wield the living metal to some degree, though the strength and precision of that control vary according to bloodline, training, and physical power. The strongest among them can bend godsteel into deadly weapons and armor, while those of weaker or mixed blood may command only smaller amounts.

Adaptable, ambitious, and diverse, Bladeborn can be found among Varninar’s noble houses, military orders, mercenary companies, and forgotten bastards. Whatever their station, they carry the legacy of the first Bladeborn and the potential to wield the legendary Blades of Vandar—vast reservoirs of godsteel whose full power can be mastered only by those strong enough to survive it.
