Homebrew Chlorovora Species Details

Chlorovora are ancient botanical organisms that grow stronger by literally consuming the world around them. Their vines possess enough strength to tear apart fortifications, uproot trees, and crush stone. Unlike most plant creatures, they are perfectly capable of surviving in the void of space, making them among the hardiest known plant lifeforms.

Despite their cheerful appearance, they are voracious omnivores capable of digesting nearly any material. Every meal fuels explosive growth, allowing them to swell into towering botanical giants capable of overpowering foes many times their size. Wise Plantapocalypses prefer restraint, but when pushed into battle, they become unstoppable engines of living vegetation.

--------

Life energy constantly repairs your body.

Whenever you regain hit points, increase the healing by your proficiency bonus.

Additionally, whenever you finish a short rest, you regain additional hit points equal to your Constitution modifier.

While you have a rooted effect active you may absorb nutrients from the ground 15ft(range is extend by growth level) around you eating all vegetation and restoring 1d8 hit points. but can only be used once in the same range and location. after nutrients is absorbed from terrain, the area absorbed gains the withered effect, the soil turns to ash, stone cracks into powder, and plant life instantly rots. The area becomes difficult terrain for the duration. When a creature enters the area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, the ground collapses beneath them. The creature falls knocked prone and takes 2d6 bludgeoning damage, Creatures standing on the withered ground lose their footing.
