Homebrew Draconis Species Details
After a meeting of the dragon gods, the draconis peoples were created as an improvement to dragonborn. In the millennia since, they have climbed through political ranks and became all types of rulers.
Draconis look like winged dragonborn, but they are born Small and slowly grow over their millennium of life. They also have wings.
As a Draconis, you have these special traits.Creature Type
You are a Humanoid.
Size
Your size is either Small (0-10 years old), Medium (11-500 years old), Large (501-1,000 years old), or Huge (1,001+ years old).
If you are Small, you have a Fly Speed equal to half your Speed and Advantage on Stealth checks.
If you are Medium, you have a Fly Speed equal to your Speed.
If you are Large, you have a Fly Speed equal to double your Speed and Disadvantage on Stealth checks.
If you are Huge, you have a Fly Speed equal to your Speed, a +1 bonus to AC and , and Disadvantage on ability checks involving Dexterity.
Speed
You have a base walking speed of 30 feet.
Childhood Training
Training throughout your childhood gave you extra skill. Gain one Origin feat of your choice; Skilled is reccommended.
Darkvision
You have Darkvision with a range of 60 feet.
Shapechanger
After a long rest while you are in your Draconis form, you can shapechange into a member of another Humanoid species. You cannot shapechange into an already existing Humanoid, and your new form is unique to you and cannot be taken by another Draconis using this trait. You cannot change this alternate form. You can shapechange back into a Draconis as a Bonus Action. You also revert back when you die.
For example, if you shapechange into a dragonborn, when you later shapechange into a dragonborn, you have the same scales, horns, eyes, and other features as the first time.
Due to Homebrew limitations, you have to temporarily change your traits manually.
