The Aeralyn are a reclusive people whose settlements are hidden deep within ancient forests, rugged mountains, and windswept highlands. For countless generations they have survived not through overwhelming strength, but through patience, discipline, and exceptional awareness.

From childhood every Aeralyn is taught to read the wind, follow the faintest trail, and remain perfectly still until the ideal moment arrives. To them, a battle is won long before the first arrow is loosed. Every movement is deliberate, every shot carefully measured, and every hunt concluded with quiet efficiency.

Their keen eyesight and extraordinary hearing have become the subject of countless legends. Travelers tell stories of Aeralyn hunters who can spot movement from impossible distances, detect hidden creatures by the rhythm of their footsteps, and strike prey before it realizes it has been discovered.

Fleet-footed

Your base walking speed is 35 feet. In addition, nonmagical difficult terrain created by natural features—such as undergrowth, roots, loose stone, shallow water, snow, mud, or similar hazards—doesn't cost you extra movement.

Keen Eyes

Accustomed to hunting beneath dense forest canopies and moonlit skies, your extraordinary eyesight allows you to see where others cannot.

You can see in dim light within 120 feet of yourself as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. Unlike most creatures with Darkvision, you perceive colors normally, even in complete darkness.

Keen Senses

Your acute hearing and exceptional perception allow you to detect dangers long before others notice them.

You gain proficiency in the Perception skill. If you already have proficiency, your proficiency bonus is doubled for any check you make using it.

Predator

Predator. The Aeralyn possess instincts honed by generations of relentless hunters. Their heightened awareness and lightning-fast reflexes allow them to react before others even perceive danger.

You add your Dexterity modifier to your initiative rolls a second time (minimum +1).

Elusive

When a creature misses you with a melee attack, you can immediately move up to 10 feet without provoking opportunity attacks.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Dexterity modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses when you finish a Long Rest.

Mobile

You gain the benefits of the Mobile feat.
