Homebrew Demi-Fey-Shadow Leprechaun Species Details
Diminutive, quick-witted fae folk hailing from the Feywild, leprechauns are natural cobblers and illusionists who harness inherent luck to twist fate, outsmart foes, and protect their coveted hoards.
Detailed Description (Long)
Steeped in the trickery and ancient magic of the Feywild, leprechauns are small humanoid fae known equally for their solitary craftsmanship and their unmatched knack for manipulating fortune. Standing just over three feet tall, they often sport neatly kept beards, tailored coats, and sturdy buckled boots suited for a lifetime of traveling hidden paths. While many mortals mistake them for simple eccentrics, a leprechaun’s mind is always three steps ahead, viewing every interaction as a game of wits.
In adventuring parties, leprechauns thrive on stealth, deception, and magical utility. Inherent fey magic allows them to weave subtle illusions, slip out of grapples effortlessly, and call upon legendary good fortune to turn catastrophic misses into decisive strikes. Though fiercely protective of their personal treasures—often bound to small, magically concealed extradimensional pouches—they are fiercely loyal to companions who earn their trust, using their fate-bending talents to keep their allies alive in dire straits.

Hidden Step
As a bonus action, you magically turn invisible until the start of your next turn or until you attack, make a damage roll, or force a saving throw.

Fey Ancestry
You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.
Fey Step
As a bonus action, you teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier per long rest.
