Homebrew Dark Faerie Species Details

Are seen as lazy by the general population, but are actually very intelligent. Adults can tell that they are capable of making a change, but they are still disrespected due to their lazy stereotype. They are family oriented and were some of the original settlers of the land. The clan is of a noble background,

The Dark Fae are derived from Fae bloodlines, and in the broadest possible sense, they still look human. However, their heritage has left a clear imprint on their appearance. They have wings that take any of a variety of shapes.

Self-Reliant and Suspicious

The Dark Fae tend to live with their families and stick to their clans where they have respect. Sometimes they live among other minority populations in enclaves where they are treated with more respect.

Lacking a homeland, they know that they have to make their own way in the world and that they have to be strong to survive. They are not quick to trust anyone who claims to be a friend, but when their companions demonstrate that they trust him or her, the Fae learns to extend the same trust to them. And once a Dark Fae gives someone loyalty, they are a firm friend or ally for life.

Appearance

Known for their messy purple hair (except for those who marry into the clan)
