Homebrew Changeling Witchlight Pitu Species Details

Changelings are a rare and enigmatic people capable of shifting their physical forms with a thought. Born of the Feywild or carrying the ancient magic of its denizens, they dwell in the spaces between communities, blending seamlessly into whatever society they choose. To a changeling, identity is not a fixed anchor, but a canvas—a fluid collection of faces, voices, and personas worn for a lifetime, a single day, or a fleeting moment.

While some changelings use their gifts to deceive, many simply use them to explore different perspectives, survive hostile worlds, or seek a deeper truth about who they are beneath their borrowed flesh. In their true forms, they are pale and elegant creatures with smooth features and solid white eyes, yet few ever see them this way.

Changeling Witchlight Pitu Traits

Fey tricksters who can physically shift their form, face, and voice at will

Shapechanger

As an action, you can change your appearance and voice. You determine the specifics of the changes, including your coloration, hair length, and sex. You can also adjust your height and weight, but not so much that your size category changes. You can make yourself appear as a member of another species, though none of your game statistics change. You can’t duplicate the appearance of an individual you’ve never seen, and you must remain a Humanoid or Fey form. Your clothing and equipment aren't changed by this trait. You stay in the new form until you use an action to revert to your true form or until you die.

Changeling Instincts

Thanks to your shapechanging nature, you gain proficiency in two of the following skills of your choice: Deception, Insight, Intimidation, Performance, or Persuasion.
