Homebrew THE QU Species Details

the Qu are a highly advanced, nomadic alien species that act as galactic genetic engineers. Driven by a fanatical, self-imposed religious mandate to remake the universe. Four-winged insectoid creatures resembling brine shrimp, lacking a traditional skeletal system. Their main torso is roughly human-sized, but a long, prehensile tail-like tentacle makes their total body length five or more times that of a human. Features two eye stalks on each side and two long, dobsonfly-like mandibles. They fly like hummingbirds using wings that resemble cetacean (whale/dolphin) fins. Nearly a billion years old, they travel in epoch-spanning migrations across the universe. They view themselves as the righteous masters and divine architects of the universe, using genetic engineering and nanotechnology to reshape all life to fit their zealous dogma.
