Homebrew Cobra Chicken Species Details
Cobra chickens look like Canada geese that decided to stand up, grow thumbs, and keep the attitude. Black head and neck, white chinstrap, brown-barred body, orange-black bill, and webbed feet that slap on cobblestones like they own the street. When they want space, the neck drops flat, the bill opens, and the hiss comes out—the sound that earned the name.
They nest on riverbanks, park ponds, grain fields, and any lawn someone else thought was theirs. Flocks migrate in loud V’s. Pairs mate for a long time and treat a campsite like a nesting territory. Most people meet them as a problem. Adventuring cobra chickens are the ones who left the flock and took that same energy on the road.
