Homebrew Intellect Hunter Species Details
You are a parasite wearing a person like a well-tailored coat. Together, you remember things neither of you learned. The host has been informed. The host has opinions. You may ignore them.
Variant: Bound Host
The playable character is the parasite and its stabilized host together.
Traits
- Darkvision: 60 feet.
- Mental Resilience: Resistance to Psychic damage.
- Silent Contact: You can communicate telepathically to one creature you can see within 30 feet. It must understand a language; this does not let it reply telepathically.
- Borrowed Memory: After a Long Rest, choose one skill proficiency. It lasts until your next Long Rest.
Notes
You cannot acquire monster statistics, leave the host as a second combatant, or escape death by taking another corpse. A host replacement is a GM-managed story event.
