Homebrew Anubisite Species Details
Varying in height from 5',7"-6',3", Anubisites are medium jackal-like humanoids. Their fur is short, and ranges in color from a tannish brown to a dark smoke gray. Human-like hands end in short canine claws. Anubisites are forgotten natives of the realm of Faerun, and are therefore a rarity. They were created by the forgotten Mulhorandi God, Anubis; the jackal headed God of the underworld.
Anubisite Traits
Anubisites are extremely long lived. Not much is known about them, but legend has it that they have been rumored to live well past two millenia. They possess Superior Darkvision to a range of 120ft in total darkness; does not apply to magical darkness. Anubisites have a natural resistance to charm/hold affects.Ability Score Increase
Anubisites are extremely dexterous, and charismatic. Therefore they receive a+2 in Dexterity and a +1 in Charisma.
Superior Darkvision
Anubisites are dwellers of the dark underworld, and therefore have Superior Darkvision up to 120ft; does not apply to magical darkness.
Speed
Anubsites move swiftly to catch and dispatch their foes. They remain true to their canine ancestry and move at a base speed of 40ft. They are also experts at ambushing their enemies, and have the ability to burrow at a base speed of 20ft.

Anubisites possess the ability to cause fear and panic in the hearts of those enemies within a 60ft radius at 1st level. This increases to 70ft at 6th level. 80ft at 11th level. Then to 90ft at 16th level. The save DC is D8+( Cha Mod + 1/2 Character Level). Can only be used 3 times per day per short/long rest.
Size
Anubisites are comparable to humans, but are slightly slimmer in frame. Males generally reach a height 5',11", while females tend to reach a height of 5',8". As for weight, males generally average 160-200 pounds. Females on the other hand,tend to average 140-170pounds. Considered medium humanoid.
Age
Anubisites reach adulthood at the age of 20; similar to that of humans. After the age of 30, they age much slower; more akin to elves. The max age of an anubisite is unknown, though legends have told of these jackal-like beings living well past two millennia.
