Homebrew Yuki-onna Species Details
"This being preys on travelers unable to save themselves, their victims wait helpless and hopeless then just as consciousness is drifting away a figure emerges from the swirling snow, a beautiful woman Glides soundlessly towards them. Her complexion as white as the silk of the kimono wrapped around her, her eyes filled with pity, her face is calm and peaceful but it is also resolute. she's the spirit of the Snows come to clasp them in her icy embrace. When the storm finally passes only their lifeless bodies will remain, slumped where they halted. Their spirits have gone with the snow Maiden lost forever to the icy fastness that she inhabits."
Yuki-onna Traits
Can kill with a touch or a breath.Your yuki-onna character has a variety of natural icy abilities.Yuki-onna sometimes fall in love with their intended prey and let them go free. Some will even marry humans and live happily together with their husbands. As yuki-onna age very slowly, their husbands inevitably discover their true identities. When hunting, they stay near mountain roads and prey on the travelers coming and going, or break into homes and flash-freeze all of the inhabitants during the night. Occasionally, Yuki-onna will join forces with winter wolves to take down large villages, though this is usually only in dire times.A Cold Calm
You know the frostbite cantrip. Once you reach 7th level, you can cast the gaseous form spell once with this trait, and you regain the ability to cast it this way when you finish a long rest. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
Cold Resistance
You have resistance to cold damage. You’re also naturally adapted to cold climates, as described in chapter 5 of the Dungeon Master’s Guide.
Glacier Glide
Terrain such as icy surfaces and deep snow do not count as Difficult Terrain for you.
Ability Score Increase
You are cunning and skilled when it comes to luring and capturing. Your Charisma increases by 1, and your Intelligence score increases by 2.
Age
Yuki-onna age slowly. They reach adulthood at about 30 and can live to be 500 years old.
