Homebrew Dhampir(Elf & Vampire mix) Species Details

Dhampir are the offspring of vampires and elves. They appear much like their elven parent. The major ways to spot a dhampir are their paler skin and fangs.

Dhampirs usually can blend in with societies as normal elves. Yet once their true heritage is revealed, they are typically shunned in all communities due to their vampiric heritage. They are less accepted within Elven communities for this reason.

 

Dhampir(Elf & Vampire mix) Traits

Dhampir have a mix of traits similar to their vampire and elven parents. They also share many traits with their fellow half elves.

Ability Score Increase

You may increase three ability scores of your choice increase by 5.

Age

Dhampirs mature at the same rate humans do and reach adulthood around the age of 20. They live much longer than humans, however, often exceeding 500 years.

Size

Dhampirs are about the same size as humans, ranging from 5 to 6 feet tall. Your size is Medium.

Speed

Your base walking speed is 30 feet.

Darkvision

Thanks to your elf and vampire blood, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 70 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Fey Ancestry

You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put you to sleep.

Skill Versatility

You gain proficiency in two skills of your choice.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common, Elvish, and one extra language of your choice.

Bite

You have fangs due to your vampire parent. They can be used as a natural weapon to make an unarmed strike. Upon a successful hit, you deal 1d6 piercing damage.

Vampiric Heritage

You gain resistance to nercotic damage.
