Homebrew Wose Species Details

Wild men with an affinity to magic. They are shorter, yet bulkier than the average human, shirking armor and clothed in a loincloth. Tattoos are important to their culture and religious rites, and it is not uncommon to see adults with blue tattoos covering the majority of their visible skin. These tribal tattoos consist of simple curves, shapes, and images from nature. Their culture does not write, although they do create standing stones with shapes and designs akin to writing.

They are very private as a rule and do not mix with other humans, let alone most of the other races, preferring to hide rather than trade with outsiders. They will make an exception for wood elves, rangers and druids, namely, those who share their respect for the wild forest and mountain regions they inhabit. They are drawn to the nature classes (druid & ranger) themselves but may be of any class other than wizard. (Parchment and writing are not a part of Wose culture.)
