Homebrew Alamshaidan Species Details
Appearances
Like most with infernal blood, their appearance is clearly changed. Their size will vary between 5 to 8 feet in height and their skin will be in more earthy tones. From muddled browns to soft greens. It is unusual for an infernal of this race to have brighter colored skin, but not uncommon. Additionally, there are a variety of other traits that come with their race. Typically their eyes will be one solid color of some kind and come with any combination of horns, tail, and hooves. Horns come in a large range of different kinds. They could be short nubs or large and spiraling.
Rarity and sightings
Due to how much of a rarity this race is they're sure to cause a bit of a spectacle wherever they go. Typically though these large individuals live a more secluded life in typically unwelcoming areas.

Hellish Resistance
If a creature or an object has resistance to a damage type, damage of that type is halved against it. If a creature or an object has vulnerability to a damage type, damage of that type is doubled against it.
Speech of Beast and Leaf
You have the ability to communicate in a limited manner with beasts and plants. They can understand the meaning of your words, though you have no special ability to understand them in return. You have advantage on all Charisma checks you make to influence them.
Fey Touched Legacy
You know the thaumaturgy cantrip. You can cast the detect magic and disguise self spell with this trait. Once you cast either spell, you can't cast it again with this trait until you finish a short or long rest. Only if your size ranges between 7 to 8 feet when you use this version of the disguise self spell, you can seem up to 3 feet shorter than normal, allowing you to more easily blend in with humans and elves. If your size is shorter than 7 feet when you use this version of the disguise self spell, you can seem up to only 1.5 feet shorter or taller and you can appear thin, fat, or in between. Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for these spells.
