Homebrew Cargas Species Details
Hailing from the world of Epsilon, a homebrew world with technology developing to almost on par with the 1980's in our timeline. Magic and technology intertwine, and the Churches rule all.
Cargas reside commonly in the church-state of Quaecruda, a small state stretched along a coastline.
Cargas are trickster-esque beings, feline creatures descended from ageless deities of Death. As a consequence of this divine heritage, many Cargas are known to sprout wings from their backs as they develop and experience during their time on Epsilon. While their blood is divine, their claws are sharp and their wits are ever sharper. Despite being descended from Deathly blood, the Cargas are not malicious beings. After all, what's wrong with a little joke?
Cargas Traits
Your divine heritage and feline morphology bestow you with traits as you grow stronger and more experienced.Ability Score Increase
Your Charisma score increases by 2, and your Dexterity score increases by 1.
Age
Cargas reach adulthood around the same age as most humans, but they live to around 200 years.
Alignment
Being trickstery cats, they are more inclined to having a chaotic nature. However, it is rather rare to find a Cargas that is truly evil.
Size
They are around the same height and weight of humans. Your size is medium.
Speed
Your base walking speed is 30ft.
Inferior Darkvision
Your Cargas has inferior Darkvision, and see only out to 30ft in the darkness.
Eternal Sentinel
You do not need to sleep at the risk of exhaustion, but it is still possible to choose to sleep or do light activities for the purpose of a Long Rest or Short Rest.
This does not grant immunity to any potions, spells, or abilities that will put your character to sleep.
Derived from Deities
As a Cargas grows in strength, they gain the ability to manifest wings!
At 3rd level, you grow wings and are now able to fly! These wings come in two flavors, bird or bat, and can come in a variety of colors and textures therein. As a side effect of this celestial upbringing, you also gain resistance to poison and advantages on saving throws against it. You are also resistant to necrotic damage.

Your senses are honed to a heightened degree, and your kind is naturally suited to pawing through both the air and the ground.
You have a proficiency in your choice of Stealth or Acrobatics.
