Solitary Lives.
Oni do not easily adapt to the ways of mortal life. Because the spend most of their time alone or with very small groups. Oni almost never venture into large cities unless it is necessary & they prefer quiet mountains or forests. Because of their somewhat frightening appearance this has given rise to many fables, recounting these horrible ogres that live int he far reaches of the world. Though most Oni do not mind considering it will keep others away from their territory.

Creations of the Earth.
Oni have a powerful connection with the earth from which they came. Most Oni take up their lives of monks to better understand the mortal world. Other, more corrupt spirits newfound lives as a trophy & become infamous mercenaries or sell swords.

Oni Names.
The Oni tends to lean towards goblinoid names, more then the names of humans. Some Oni even take up lives in goblinoid tribes. As it is not uncommon to see oni fighting along side a bugbear or an orc. The Oni are spirits given to form by the gods. Their bodies formed from the earth & very hearty creatures. Most oni are male but female oni can be spotted from time to time.
Male Names: Toska, Nobrin, Hask, Desop
Female Names: Min, Simna, Albenalen, Kola

Age.
Oni can live up to several hundred years, similar to elves. One of the oldest of oni is over 700 years old.

You have a faint scent of cinder. This smell is enhanced when angered or worried.
