Homebrew Aäriadri (Tabaxi, Housecat Variant) Species Details
When a Tabaxi spends too much time around civilization , it can rapidly evolve so that only two generations later, its offspring are perfectly adapted to the urban environment. When this happens, they shrink drastically, and become even more charismatic than they already were.
Aäriadri (Tabaxi, Housecat Variant) Traits
Forced to adapt, Aäriadri master deception to survive in the ruthless slums of big urban areas.Ability Score Increase:
Aäriadri are surprisingly nimble for their size, and very, VERY, persuasive.....damn those kitten eyes.
Your Dexterity score increases by 1, and your Charisma score increases by 2.
Age:
Aäriadri age at around the same rate as humans, reaching middle age at around 50, and rarely living longer than 110.
Size:
Your urban adaption has drastically decreased your size. Typical Aäriadri stand between two and a half and three and a half feet tall. But get one thing straight: they don't need to be tall. They have style. Do you still impudently disagree? Fine, amigos, I shall persuade you otherwise.
... (your size is small).
Speed:
Your base walking speed is 25 feet. But let's get this straight.....
Darkvision:
You have a cat’s keen senses especially in the dark. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness only shades of gray.
Feline Agility:
You gain proficiency in the Acrobatics skill, and your jump distance is doubled.
Those big, watery eyes.....
People can't help but to like you. In many cases, they even find it hard to say no to you. Very hard...so...so hard....I....yes, McStuffins, you're wish is my command.
You gain proficiency in the persuasion, deception, and performance skills. You're proficiency bonus is doubled for any check you make with these skills.
Alignment:
You are a naturally born hero, with the Charisma to prove it (Or....deceive those fools into thinking otherwise....), naturally driving you towards good, or, at the very least, Neutral. BUT. This is a big but. No one ever, EVER, tells an Aäriadri what to do. EVER. You are undeniably Chaotic. You are immune to any feature that would change your alignment in this regard.
Languages:
You can speak, read and write in Common, and one other language of your choice.

Posted Feb 8, 2020There is no way someone can convince me to be mad at you for creating this. This is a blessing to the world. Also, this is a gift to Warrior Cats fans, as you can now become your Warriors oc, and no one can be mad at you, because your race is a cat and it makes sense.

Posted Apr 6, 2020So, you created a D&D variant of the Dagi and Dagi-Raht Khajiit from the Elder Scrolls series essentially? I like it, although I might replace the advantage in all three with advantage in just one

Posted Apr 6, 2020I've never read the Elder Scrolls series. Do you recommend them?
Yeah. Couldn't decide on one skill, because they all worked well with the race. So, I decided to go down the more unbalanced route and choose expertise in all three. Feel free to make changes if you decide to use this race yourself, though:)

Posted Jun 25, 2020This is adorable and I think it is vary balanced. I love the thought of playing as the equivalent of a D&D Puss and Boots.
I wish it still had the Tabaxi climbing speed (It really comes in handy sometimes).

Posted Jul 9, 2020The feline agility and big watery eyes traits don’t work. Thought I’d mention that in case you could fix it.
