Homebrew Asari Species Details

Physical Description

Asari greatly resemble human women in size and shape, but that is where the similarities end. Their skin is covered smooth scales generally ranging in color from blue to purple, and they have tentacle like growths that sweep back along their head.  Asari are almost universally very attractive compared to other humanoid races, and tend to be very Buxom, it's rare to find an asari that can be considered ugly.

Society

Asari can be separated into three groups based on age, Maiden, Matron, And Matriarch.  Maiden is the first stage life, lasting until they reach the age of 350 years old, this stage of life is generally exemplified by a wanderlust and a free spirited attitude.   Once they reach the matron stage Asari usually start settling and become more communally minded.   The matriarch stage begins when the Asari reaches about 700 years old, matriarch's are well respected leaders of their communities, sharing there hard earned wisdom with those around them.

Since all Asari are female, and they can produce a child with any partner always producing an Asari, the child's other parent is always referred to as the father.

Religion

Asari worship the Goddess Athame, who molded the first asari in her own image, then breathed life into them. She is the goddess of life and Knowledge.

Each asari is an indavidual, but they all share these traits.

Ability Score Increase

Your Wisdom increases by 2, and your Charisma by 1.

Age

Asari reach adulthood at age 90. And can live up to 1000 years old.

Alignment

Asari tend towards Lawful, good or neutral.  But they are varied enough that chaotic an evil asari exist.

Protective Magic

Magic is an innate part of every asari, and they can instinctively use it to protect them selves. They can cast Mage Armor as a first level spell, once per long rest.

Eternities Embrace

A part of an asari's innate magic is the ability to link there essence to another willing participant, and one of the uses of this is to share memories. They can either see specific memories that their partner wishes to share, or they can choose to show their own memories.
