Homebrew Yaugear Species Details

Yaugear were originally created by the evil god Hogoth over a thousand years ago to be his army. they were saved from this fate when one of their own rose and slew Hogoth, that hero was named Jocdu, and became their god.

Honorable Mercenaries

The Yaugear have fallen into the role of warriors for hire, made famous for the fact that they never break their contracts. their children grow up with out a name until the age of 100 when they are sent out to earn their name, by slaying a powerful beast and bring back proof. The first generation of yaugear that still live are revered as elders.

These Racial traits are assuming the Yaugear in question young.

Magic resistance.

You have advantage on all spell save checks. but you suffer disadvantage on all spell attack checks, and everyone has advantage on all spell save checks on spells you cast.

Languages

You can speak, read, and write Common, and one extra language of your choice.

Darkvision

you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.

Brave

You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened.

Your Strength score increases by 2, and your Constitution score increases by 2.

You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift.
